PRIME Minister Elijah Ngurare visited a family in the One Nation location of the Ombili suburb following a devastating fire that claimed the lives of two young children, aged 4 and 6, on Saturday night.
The tragic incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. while the children’s mother was at work. Reports indicate that their 20-year-old brother, who was present at the shack where they were sleeping, had briefly left to visit a neighbour when the fire broke out.
During his visit, Ngurare conveyed his deepest condolences to the grieving family, urging them to remain united during this difficult time.
He assured the family that the government, through its various disaster relief agencies, will provide the necessary assistance in due course.
