TSUMEB, the industrial town of the Oshikoto Region, offers the perfect setting for this prominent event, including the annual Copper Festival, where exhibitors are given a platform to generate income.
With its top-tier hospitality facilities, Tsumeb ensures that participants and visitors experience world-class comfort and service throughout the festival.
Chairperson of the Tsumeb Copper Festival, Julius Gaeseb, said that this year’s festival is slated to take place from 30th October to 2nd November 2024.

The festival is being held under the theme, “Celebrating Craftsmanship, Creativity, and Excellence in a Diverse Namibia.”
According to Gaeseb, as the flagship economic and socio-cultural event on Tsumeb’s calendar since its establishment in 2003, the Copper Festival has consistently served as a dynamic platform for business promotion, networking, and industry engagement.
“It is a vital event for local and international exhibitors to showcase their products and services to a broad, high-profile audience, while creating key investment and development opportunities for the region,” he said.
He added that the festival aligns with Namibia’s national economic development goals by fostering entrepreneurship and innovation across key sectors.
Gaeseb indicated that this year’s event promises even greater value, focusing on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), agricultural advancements, and the creative industries.
During the festival, he said they will be hosting a sports day, gospel day, youth conference, women’s summit, farmers day, business conference, and will conclude with an awards ceremony.
