SHILIHULENI Jonas, a 71-year-old man took his own life by hanging himself at Omutsegwoholongo village of Omusati’s Ruacana Constituency.
The discovery was reportedly made by a 14-year-old girl on Saturday around 09:00.
According to Crime Coordinator Moses Simaho, the deceased was last seen on Friday around 21:00, after they had dinner.
However, on Saturday, his lifeless body was found hanging with a rope around his neck from the branch of marura tree nearby his house.
Simaho indicated that a docket of inquest has now been opened to investigate the real cause of death.
