POLICE are on the hunt for a suspect who allegedly raped and assaulted a 25-year-old mentally unfit woman.
According to the weekend crime report, the incident happened between 25 and 26 September 2026 between Oshimangwashongete and Eendombedhiingula village, Omuthiya Constituency.
It is alleged that the victim was on her way home when she was approached by the suspect. It is alleged that the suspect had sexual intercourse with the victim and assaulted her. It is alleged that the suspect is known; no arrest was made and police investigations continue.
