THREE suspects aged between 25 and 27 have been arrested for alleged stock theft after they were reportedly caught with three sheep on a farm in the Aranos District.
According to the Namibia Police weekend crime report, the incident occurred on Friday at a farm in the Aranos District.
It is alleged that the suspects trespassed onto the farm, chased down grazing livestock and caught three sheep. The suspects allegedly tied the animals’ legs with wire before throwing them over a camp fence.
Upon seeing the complainant approaching in a vehicle, the suspects allegedly fled the scene. They were pursued and apprehended by the complainant and his worker.
The three stolen sheep were recovered, while the police investigation continues.
