THE alleged theft of two goats in the Tsumeb policing area has landed a 45-year-old man behind bars.
According to the police, the suspect was intercepted on the Tsumeb-Tsintsabis Road on Friday evening while he was transporting two goats, with a combined value of N$3,000, in his vehicle.
The recovered goats were handed back to the lawful owner at Farm Welmoed, while the suspect was detained and is expected to appear before the Tsumeb Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
