THE Namibian Police are investigating two separate robbery cases that occurred in Usakos and Windhoek’s Otjomuise this weekend, with no suspects arrested so far.
The Usakos incident occurred on Friday evening when three unknown male suspects armed with pistols entered a house and assaulted a husband and wife with their fists, tied them up and robbed them of electronic devices before fleeing the scene.
According to the police, the victims sustained minor injuries. They eventually managed to untie themselves, sought help from a neighbour and contacted the police.
Another robbery incident occurred in Otjomuise, Windhoek, on Saturday evening.
It is alleged that a suspect threatened the complainant with a knife and robbed her of a mobile phone and other personal belongings.
The value of the stolen items is estimated at more than N$10,000.
No arrests have been made, and no recoveries have been effected in either case.
