THE Namibian and Zimbabwean governments are strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation into the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
This was highlighted by the Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, during a recent Cabinet briefing.
She announced that Cabinet has authorised the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Zimbabwean government focusing on ICT collaboration. According to the minister, the signing of the MoU will not only reinforce bilateral ties between Namibia and Zimbabwe but also create opportunities for joint initiatives and foster regional cooperation in advancing digital transformation.
