THE Namibian police in the Omusati Region are investigating the drowning of a four-year-old boy who allegedly fell into a water pond while trying to catch fish.
The police did not provide further details about the incident, which occurred in the Ohauhwe village in the Outapi Constituency of Omusati on Friday.
Meanwhile, the police in the Oshikoto Region have recovered the body of 34-year-old Mashina Pineas Tangeni from an earth dam. He was reported missing in the Okaloko village, Olukonda Constituency, on Wednesday.
“The body was retrieved from the earth dam on Saturday afternoon and was positively identified by family members as that of the missing person.”
