Telecom Namibia has announced scheduled maintenance work that will affect mobile and fixed telecommunication services including voice and data in six regions from Friday, 18 July, to Wednesday, 23 July 2025.
The planned maintenance will impact customers in Erongo, Otjozondjupa, Oshikoto, Kavango West, Kavango East, and Zambezi regions. Work is set to begin at 8:00 PM on 18 July and is expected to conclude by 12:00 AM on 23 July.
According to Telecom Namibia, the maintenance has been scheduled for overnight hours to reduce disruptions to customers’ daily routines. However, intermittent service interruptions may occur during this period.
Telecom estimates that full service restoration will take approximately 12 hours, depending on the specific location and technical factors.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate our customers’ patience as we work to improve the reliability and performance of our network,” the Telecom said in a statement.
