CHINA DONATION: The government has received a donation of 27 200 bags of (50KG) rice from the People’s Republic of China towards the Drought Relief Programme. The consignment arrived by sea this week and is earmarked for Oshikoto region drought beneficiaries. China’s swift response came after the call made by the Head of State calling for international and local partners to assist the government to mitigate the impact of the severe drought facing Namibia.
