A 68-YEAR-OLD resident of Iikuku village near Oshakati died in his sleep after returning home heavily intoxicated on Sunday evening.
According to the police, the man arrived home from the shebeens at around 22:00 and fell asleep on a small bed outside his bedroom. His lifeless body was discovered by his wife on Monday morning.
The police suspect no foul play, and no inquest has been registered pending the results of the postmortem examination.
