NOVEMBER SHOWERS: While November has only just begun, it has already brought rainfall to some parts of the country, including Gobabis in the Omaheke Region and Grootfontein in the Otjozondjupa Region. Grootfontein has so far recorded between 30 and 38 millimetres (mm) of rain this weekend. Photos and videos shared by weather enthusiasts on social media captured the rainfall in these areas. Weather enthusiasts are also expressing excitement about the prospect of rain in various other areas, sharing photos of cloudy skies across the central, western, and eastern parts of the country. Windhoek, which saw a few drops this afternoon, is among the areas blanketed in heavy clouds, suggesting that rain might be on the way.
