A 33-YEAR-OLD woman was struck and killed by a government vehicle on the B1 road between Ondangwa and Omuthiya on Saturday.
The police identified the deceased as Kristofina Niitembu.
The incident reportedly occurred about 25 kilometres from Ondangwa.
The pedestrian was allegedly attempting to cross the road when she was hit by a white Toyota Hilux GD6 double-cab government vehicle. The police revealed that the driver, a 54-year-old man, was on official duty at the time.
