MTC-Kilimanjaro gives back to the community

MTC-KILIMANJARO Boxing Club continues to give back to the community through their corporate social responsibility, with the latest donation of printers and 20 reams of copy paper.

The donation was handed over to Namalubi Combined School and Bukalo Primary School in the Zambezi Region this week.

The club has also made efforts to support boxing coaches by hosting a series of training sessions.

Club Chairperson Benard Joseph said the first training session is expected to take place on Sunday in the Oshana Region.

“The club will have our first workshop tomorrow with all boxing coaches, officials, and chairpersons of the Oshakati Boxing Federation,” he said.

He added that the next training session will be held next Saturday in the Oshikoto Region with the same identified group.

Joseph indicated that the main aim of this initiative is to teach boxing coaches and officials what is expected of them in the development of Namibia’s children.

Furthermore, Joseph mentioned that MTC-Kilimanjaro Boxing Club will travel to Kavango for a boxing development event in Rundu on the 1st and 2nd of November.
