THE Ministry of Health and Social Services, in collaboration with UNICEF and other partners, joined the international community in the sixteenth annual commemoration of Global Hand Washing Day as well as the second yearly commemoration of World Toilet Day.
The main commemorative event was held in Otjiwarongo in the Otjozondjupa Region.
World Toilet Day was commemorated under the theme, “Toilet: A Place for Peace,” while the Hand Washing part was held under the theme, “Why Are Clean Hands Still Important?”
