THE Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) is conducting a short training course for its Returning Officers (ROs) in preparation for the November polls.
The training aims to provide the ROs with the necessary knowledge and skills to efficiently and effectively manage the electoral process and ensure the delivery of credible elections in compliance with statutory frameworks, according to the ECN.
The event is taking place at The Dome in Swakopmund and was officially opened by the Commission’s Chairperson, Elsie Nghikembua, on Wednesday.
The ECN also held its General Registration of Voters postmortem and performance management framework at the same venue on Monday.
