PREPARATIONS are well underway for the seventh edition of the Ondangwa SME Expo and Colour Party, which is expected to take place this month.
The expo is slated for 20 September to 1 October 2024 at the Ondangwa Trade Fair Centre.
Event organizer Jackson Da Silva said this is a youth event held annually with the aim of giving the youth a platform to create their own income through the sale of their products and services.

According to Da Silva, they have various exhibition stalls ranging from food and beverages, traditional arts and crafts, fashion design, and fruit and vegetables.
“We have provided a platform for our SMEs, who are selling second-hand clothes, traditional products, plants, and fashion designs, to mention a few, and they will be exhibiting for free,” he said.
He added that they have made about 30 stalls available for free, which are limited and will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
He stressed that the idea is to create a platform for young people, as they do not want people to venture only into alcohol sales but to take up opportunities in various business ventures.
Moreover, Da Silva indicated that there will be live performances and a Miss Ondangwa Youth Expo to keep exhibitors and visitors entertained during the event.
The expo is organized by Da Silva Events & Promotions CC, with sponsorship from Top Score, Jägermeister, and Coca-Cola.
