A TEN-YEAR-OLD girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her 37-year-old uncle at Iikuku Village in the Oshana Region.
Oshana Crime Investigation Coordinator Deputy Commissioner Frederick Ndjadila, said the suspect who was on the run was arrested this week.
“It is alleged that the suspect came in the room where the victim was sleeping, undress the victim and raped her,” he said.
He added that the matter was reported to the police by the victim’s aunt.
Ndjadila indicated that the suspect is an uncle to the victim and they reside in the same house at Iikuku village.
