THE Namibian Police Force in the Oshana Region has so far recovered four vehicles in Angola that were stolen in Namibia.

Oshana Crime Investigation Coordinator Deputy Commissioner Fredrick Ndjadila revealed this on Tuesday.

According to Ndjadila, their Angolan counterparts recently recovered a stolen vehicle from Oshakati.

“We have two more vehicles yet to be repatriated from Angola,” he said.

He added that no suspects have been arrested.

Ndjadila also indicated that in 2022, a total of 18 vehicles were stolen in the region, while 31 vehicles were stolen in 2023.

They recovered 14 vehicles within those two years in the country, and five vehicles were recovered in Angola and all have been repatriated back to Namibia.
