Body of newborn discovered in drain in Walvis Bay

THE Erongo Police are investigating another case of concealment of birth after the body of a newborn baby boy was discovered in a drain in Kuisebmond in Walvis Bay on Monday afternoon.

This is the second body of a newborn discovered in Kuisebmond by municipality workers on Monday. The first body was found among collected trash in a truck by municipality workers.

In this instance, the police disclosed that the body was found around 12:30 on Monday by municipality workers, who promptly reported it to the police.

No arrests have been made yet, but the police are actively seeking the public’s help in identifying and apprehending the suspect.
