THE body of a newborn baby was discovered in a rubbish bin in Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay, on Monday morning.
The Erongo Police disclosed that municipality workers discovered the body while emptying bins, reportedly finding it amidst the collected rubbish in their truck. Subsequently, they alerted the police.
The police clarified that the discovery occurred around 10:00 on Monday morning. This discovery came about two and a half hours before the municipality workers found another body of a newborn in a drain in Walvis Bay.
No arrests have been made in either case.
