AFTER a 21-year-old man allegedly threatened to kill a 17-year-old girl at Etambo village Okankolo constituency, police in Oshikoto are investigating a case of assault through threat.
The incident was reported to authorities on Thursday afternoon, according to Commissioner Teopolina Kalompo-Nashikaku, the Oshikoto police commander.
The suspect is accused of forcing the victim to have sex with him on multiple occasions as they were walking home from school and of threatening to kill the victim.
According to Kalompo-Nashikaku, the suspect has been detained and will appear in front of the Ondangwa magistrate court on Tuesday.
Police investigation into the matter continues.
