THE Namibian police in the Oshikoto Region are investigating a case of housebreaking with the intent to steal and theft after unknown suspects broke into a house in the Omalindi village near Omuthiya town on Thursday.
According to the police, the unidentified suspects broke into the house using an unknown device while the 36-year-old house owner was at work. When he returned home after work, he found shoe prints that indicated that at least three burglars were involved in the housebreaking.
The suspects stole three TV sets valued at N$16 677. No arrests were made and the stolen items were not recovered.
The police’s investigation continues.
