Iipanda Ya Amiti Health care clinic inaugurated

THE government’s top goal continues to be the provision of health care services to the public.

Iipanda Ya Amiti basic health care clinic was so opened in Omusati Region by Minister of Health and Social Service Kalumbi Shangula.

According to Shangula, the government has made a conscious effort to ensure that Namibians in all regions of the nation, particularly those in rural areas, have access to the facilities and services they require because these populations were the most disenfranchised during the period of colonialism and oppression under apartheid.

“The government has collaborated and still collaborates with friends of Namibia and our development cooperation partners to execute measures aimed at enhancing socioeconomic services, including health care,” he said.
He emphasized that these initiatives are paying off, and they know Namibians will continue to gain from them in the present and the future.
“It took many hours, days, and months of labour to realize the dream of opening the Iipanda Ya Amiti Primary Health Care Clinic,” he added.
Shangula said around $11.4 million was spent on the project’s execution.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services provided funding for the clinic’s construction.

“Thanks to all of our team’s hard work, this clinic is now ready to provide services to this community and is standing here. I genuinely appreciate all of your efforts in making this dream a reality,” he stressed.

He then implored neighbourhood members to use the Health Care Clinic for the reason it was created.
He indicated that their goal is to make sure that their community receives top-notch medical and social services at this clinic for a very long time to come.
