THE first-ever beer festival is underway at Ongwediva Bennies Entertainment Park.
The festival, featuring quality beers from a variety of breweries started on the 22nd of December and will conclude on the 31st of December.
Event organiser Andreas Hauwanga said that the aim of the festive is to promote local entrepreneurs and the type of business they do.

Bennies Entertainment Park was established with an aim of bringing people together, spending quality time with their loved ones and having fun at the same time.
Hauwanga indicated that the festival attracted close to 10 exhibitors, and hopes to increase the number next year.
“This is the beginning of a fun festival, as we hope to host the event annually,” he said.
Hauwanga said that those who wish to visit the various stalls can make their way to the park, with entrance fees of N$20 to be paid at the gate by adults, while children go in for free.
