A MAN and woman sleeping in a shack in Katutura were killed when a car crashed into the structure and drove over them.
The driver fled from the scene in another vehicle.
The accident happened in Bishop A.C. Kamburona Street around 03:40 on Saturday.
According to the police, the driver of a grey Toyota double cab ran into a corrugated iron shack where Jimmy Hamaseb (49) and Wilfred Guriras (40) were sleeping. They both died when the pickup drove over them.
The next of kin of both victims were informed.
