IN another death involving a young child being hit by a car while crossing a road, a three-year-old boy lost his life when he was run over.
According to the weekend crime bulletin, the incident happened on Saturday around 19:00 on the Epupa gravel road about 1 km from Okangwati.
It is alleged that the driver of a Toyota pickup was driving
from Okangwati to Omuhonga village when he hit the boy who was crossing the road. The child died instantly.
His next of kin have been informed.
Last week Tuesday, five-year-old Justina Mekondjo died after a car hit her while she was crossing the road near the Oshifukwa location.
In another incident, a two-year-old girl was left in critical condition after a woman reversed over her at the Oshandumbala village in the Otamanzi constituency on 19 May.
