THE Namibian police in the Erongo Region have arrested a 30-year-old suspect on two separate counts of attempted murder.
It is alleged that the suspect attempted to murder his former girlfriend, Monica Xawes (21) at around 06:00 on Saturday, and four hours later, made another attempt on the life of Sadrag Huseb (25).
The two alleged criminal acts occurred at the same venue: house number 110, Uis.
According to the Police’s crime report, the first incident occurred when the suspect allegedly grabbed his ex-girlfriend’s hair and used a knife to cut her twice on the neck and both hands.
Another incident occurred at the same place at 10:00 when the same suspect allegedly used the same weapon to inflict two serious neck wounds on the other victim, Huseb.
The suspect was arrested and is expected to appear in court in due course.
