AN employee of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT), the 35-year-old Ndapewoshali Shangheta, has been released on bail in the amount of N$1,000 after she was arrested for dealing in cannabis at Omuthiya.
Shangheta, who is employed as cleaner at MICT, was arrested last month, 14 January, following a police search at both her office and home.
Oshikoto Regional Commander Commissioner Armas Shivute said the cannabis found is valued at a total N$480.
“We confiscated 15 grams in the suspect’s office valued at N$100, while 80 grams were found at her house valued at N$380,” he said.
The case was postponed to 19 May for further police investigations.
