MANY Namibians from all over the country took a break from the daily grind to go exploring along rivers and roads less travelled to witness the marvel of the result of good rains over the past three weeks.
The Tsumis River between Rehoboth and Kalkrand was flowing steadily towards the Hardap Dam which gave visitors the opportunity to go for a swim in the water while others just pulled off the road to have a picnic on the river banks.
Since the good rains started falling over the southern half of Namibia about a month ago farms in the catchment area of the Tsumis River received more than 300 millimetres.
One of the visitor remarked on the amazing transformation of the Namibian landscape after good rains fell over the country.
