OKAFUKA Trading CC was crowned as the champions of Top Score seven-a-side Oshiwana (community) tournament that ended in the Embandu Stadium near Oshakati on Sunday.
The champions beat Wakaduku 1-0 in the final.
As the champions, Okafuka Trading scooped a top prize of a floating trophy, gold medals and N$12 000 while Wakaduku as the runners-up, received silver medals and N$8 000 in prize money.
Tembisa took third place after defeating UEFA Lounge with a score of 2-1 and received bronze medals and N$ 5 000 in prize money. Namib Mills, through its Top Score brand, sponsored the tournament to the tune of N$94 414.
Mayweather Trading FC was the champion in last year’s tournament.
