THE National Youth Council (NYC) together with its partners have mobilized 484 young people in 121 constituencies around the country, who will go door to door and disseminate information on how to stop the spread the COVID-19in Namibia.
Sirka Ngitila Executive director and Manager of program at the NYC said the campaign is being carried out in all 14 regions to disseminate information aimed at combating the spread of COVID-19.
The Ministry of Sport, Youth and National Service together with development partners, UNFP, GIZ and Africa Yan is embarking on the campaign.

Ngitila noted that NYC employees and volunteers are at work to ensure that all material are disseminated to the community.
“Let us support the young people as they go out into the different communities to disseminate factual information that aimed curbing the spread of COVID-19 and flattery the curve,” said Ngitila.
According to Ngitila, during this testing time of the COVIC-19 pandemic, it is the duty as young leaders to work towards social change.
