PAULA Rebeiro, the Ongwediva woman who was shot by her husband on Friday, died at the Ongwediva Medipark hospital on Monday evening after fighting for her life for two days.
Paula, who would have turned 40 on Monday, was shot once in the head by her husband, businessman Manuel ‘Maneli’ Rebeiro, 41, in their matrimonial home.
After shooting his wife in the garage of their house, which has been on sale for over a year at a price tag of N$2.4 million, Manuel committed suicide by shooting himself with the same weapon.

The couple had two children together, while Manuel was a father to a total of 12 children, some of them from his past relationships and other conceived with other women during his marriage to Paula.
