THE Deutsche Hohere Privatschule (DHPS) and the Basketball Artists School (BAS) hosted a collaborative DHPS/BAS camp, where more than 100 players took part.
The three-day basketball camp took place over the weekend and it taught players basic skills like dribbling, passing, shooting and ball handling.

Different contests and games were played and through these, winners for the five trophies were determined.
The winners were Zuleika Hiwilepo, Elias Lagvardi, Zunaid Benjamin, Rayhan Poonja and Ashley Linda
One of the participant, 12-year-old Nathan Mungunda said: “I enjoyed the camp so much and I learnt how to play like Lebron James. I can’t wait for next year’s camp”.
BAS is an after-school program focusing on education, life skills and basketball for children and youth in Katutura.
