THE Namibian rugby team will face some tough opposition as it looks to get its World Cup preparation campaign up and running by taking on Gauteng’s Xerox Golden Lions XV tomorrow at the Hage Geingob stadium.
The team recently suffered some heavy defeats in previous friendly games against the likes of Argentina, South African and Georgia but are however looking to bounce back as they play their first SuperSport Challenge match against the Lions.
The match will kick off at 16h00.
The Rugby Union of Namibia announced the 25-men squad that will take part in tomorrow’s game.
Darryl de la Harpe will captain the team with his vice-captain being Levene Damens. Andre Rademeyer, Niel van Vuuren, AJ de Klerk, Mahepisa Tjeriko, Max Katjijeko, Prince Gaoseb, Adriaan Booysen, Eugene Jantjies, PW Walters, Janry du Toit, Chris Arries, Cliven Loubser, Gerhard Thirion, Jason Benade, Ruan Ludick, Rohan Kitshoff, J C Winkler, Oderich Mouton, Chrysander Botha, Thomasau Forbes, Macho Prinsloo and Calla Freygang.
