THE Windhoek City Police Service has intercepted four suspects in two separate incidents in Khomasdal as part of intensified operations aimed at preventing crime and disrupting criminal activities.
The incidents occurred during the early morning hours of Tuesday and Wednesday, with police saying some of the suspects have pending cases while others were found in possession of implements that could potentially be used to commit crimes.
The city police have called on members of the public who may have been victims of robberies or other crimes in Khomasdal to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigations.
The Windhoek City Police Service said its officers would continue conducting proactive operations to protect residents and property.
“We will continue taking proactive action against those who seek to threaten the safety of our residents, as this is part of our commitment to making Windhoek the safest city in Africa,” the service said.
