A 19-YEAR-OLD officer cadet, identified as M.P. Kavari, collapsed while training and was later declared dead.
According to the weekend crime bulletin, the incident happened on Friday, 14 August 2026, at 12:30 at Farm Berquell in the Okahandja area, next to Osona Military Base.
It is alleged that Officer Cadet M.P. Kavari, 19, collapsed while training. He was transported to Okahandja State Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. Next of kin were informed.
Police investigations continue.
