THE 24-YEAR-OLD male suspect who had been on the run in the Omusati Region since last week after allegedly murdering his five-year-old daughter in Oshifo Village, Ruacana Constituency, has finally been traced and arrested.
According to Regional Police Commander Ismael Basson, the suspect was found in Oshikuku on Sunday.
The police said the murder was committed on Wednesday between 13:00 and 17:30, at a time when the suspect was alone with the girl at his residence.
It is alleged that the suspect used an unknown object to stab the victim in the head and back.
