FERNADES Loide Khandhila, a 40-year-old Namibian woman who was sleeping together with her two-year-old daughter, succumbed to injuries after a car crashed into their home in the capital.
According to the weekend crime bulletin, the culpable homicide incident happened on Friday, 31 July 2026, at around 02:51 on Ongava Street in the Okuryangava location.
It is alleged that a Toyota Vitz vehicle, upon crossing the speed hump, began to sway from side to side, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle subsequently veered off the roadway and collided with a shack dwelling, and as a result, Khandhila died, while her two-year-old daughter did not sustain any injuries.
Police investigations continue.
