Staff Reporter

THE Namibian Police Force is seeking public assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 21-year-old Erick Tueya Delton Chipawa, who has been reported missing after he allegedly failed to arrive in Windhoek as expected.

Chipawa, an Oshiwambo-speaking Namibian male, was reported missing at the Otjomuise Police Station in the Khomas Region on Tuesday, 7 July 2026.

According to the police, Chipawa was last known to be in Swakopmund, where he allegedly informed his brother via SMS that he would travel to Windhoek the following day. He has not been seen since, and efforts by family and friends to locate him have been unsuccessful.

The police described Chipawa as dark in complexion, approximately 1.70 metres tall, with a half-moon tattoo on the right side of his chest. He also has piercings on both ears.

Anyone who may have seen Chipawa or has information regarding his whereabouts is requested to contact Warrant Officer Nambahu on 081 607 5886, his sister-in-law on 085 802 2958, his grandmother on 081 329 1180, or the nearest police station.
