THE south is in for a sharp change in weather, with cold, windy and rainy conditions expected on Wednesday before temperatures drop even further on Thursday.
This was predicted by the Namibia Meteorological Services, which indicated that the south-eastern parts of the country are expected to bear the brunt of Wednesday’s cold and rainy weather.
The cold spell is expected to persist beyond Wednesday, with temperatures forecast to drop further on Thursday. According to Namibia Meteorological Services, sub-zero temperatures and frost are expected across the southern regions on Thursday.
The cold conditions are also expected to extend beyond the south. Namibia Meteorological Services predicted that parts of central Namibia could also record temperatures below 0°C on Thursday. Members of the public are advised to prepare accordingly.
