A 22-YEAR-OLD man has died after allegedly being stabbed with an okapi knife at Desi village in the Tondoro Constituency, Kavango West Region, in the early hours of Friday.
According to the Namibian Police weekend crime report, the incident occurred at around 01:00, and the victim died upon arrival at Nankundu State Hospital due to multiple stab wounds.
Police said the victim was allegedly attacked by a 21-year-old Namibian man, with the motive behind the killing currently unknown.
The suspect has been arrested and is being held in police custody.
The victim’s next of kin have been informed, while police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
