The ministry said no human fatalities or losses of wildlife or livestock were recorded during the incident.
Firefighting teams battled the blaze for several days amid strong winds and heavy fuel loads, which contributed to the rapid spread of the fire.
The ministry thanked community members for their assistance during the operation, which helped officials contain and eventually extinguish the wildfire.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
