THE Namibian Defence Force (NDF) will today conduct training exercises in the general area of Oser-Kari near Okahandja in the Otjozondjupa Region.
According to the Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs, members of the public may observe military personnel, vehicles and aircraft in the exercise area.
The training will run from 08:00 to 17:00.
The ministry assured the public that no live ammunition or live firing will be used during the exercise.
“Two aircraft might be manoeuvring within the Oser-Kari area. The activity is conducted solely for training purposes and poses no threat to public safety,” the ministry said in a statement.
