A DISTURBING discovery was made in Otjomuise on Saturday after a human skeleton was found scattered along a riverbank near Matshitshi Road.
According to the police weekend crime report, the skeletal remains were discovered by a person searching for firewood in the bushes.
Police said clothing items were found at the scene, along with a rope tied to a nearby tree branch and another rope lying on the ground near the skull.
The remaining skeletal remains, including the skull and spine, were reportedly scattered throughout the area.
Police investigations into the discovery are continuing.
