A 54-YEAR-OLD Angolan national from Chibia near Lubango, employed as a cattle herder in the Otamanzi area of the Omusati Region, died by suicide after hanging himself from a tree on Monday.
It is alleged that the deceased left the cattle post at around 14:00.
Fellow cattle herders started looking for him by following his footprints after he failed to return to the camp. They found his lifeless body hanging from a tree.
No foul play is suspected, and no suicide note was found.
His next of kin are not yet known, but the deceased’s employer has been informed.
