AS uniquely Namibian as can be. A seamless three-language commentary on the police chase of robbers with both vehicles struck the outer wall of the Chinese embassy in Windhoek, which personifies Namibian languages and spirit that can only occur in Namibia.
According to the CCTV footage from the scene, the incident unfolded when a sedan rammed into a gate before speeding off. The police vehicle in pursuit crashed into the wall of the Chinese Embassy while chasing suspects driving a Volkswagen Polo.
During the chase, officers allegedly opened fire, reportedly aiming at the tyres of the fleeing car. The video, widely shared on social media, captures the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
