A CONCERNED mother is seeking public assistance in tracing her missing teen daughter, identified as Tessa Naweses (15).
According to Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula of the Erongo Police, the teen disappeared on Monday, 9 March 2026, at around 19:00 from her home in Mondesa, Swakopmund.
“It is alleged that the Namibian female, 15 years old, a Grade 9 pupil at Swakopmund Secondary School, sneaked out of the house while the mother was busy in the bedroom. The mother contacted friends and family, tracing her without any success, and she has neither attended school since then,” Shomongula said.
The teen was last seen wearing a black dress and brown top. She is short, dark in complexion, has a plaited push-back hairstyle, and speaks Khoekhoegowab and English.
It is alleged that the minor has been in Swakopmund for three months after moving from Okombahe, where she lived with her father.
