A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been taken in for questioning in connection with the murder of a 39-year-old woman identified as Rosalia Andonyo.
According to the weekend crime bulletin, the incident of murder occurred on Friday, 20 February 2026 during the night at Kahenge village, Kavango West Region.
It is alleged that Andonyo (39) died on the spot after she was assaulted on the head with an unknown object. It is further alleged that the suspect dragged the deceased’s body into nearby shrubs before leaving the crime scene. The next of kin were informed. A 22-year-old male, who is the last person seen with the deceased, was detained for questioning as a person of interest. Police investigations continue.
